Recognizing the Odor Landscape!

As nose work handlers, our primary and first goal should be to develop our observation skills to the utmost. This is so that we may recognize in blind searches the clues our dogs are giving us about the odor puzzles they are solving. If we can recognize this, we will understand how best to support them in their task so that we can be successful. The nose work game was developed originally by NACSW founders in America specifically for our dogs’ enjoyment and the enrichment of their lives with us! It’s what our dogs do best and we learn the most when we allow them to teach us how they accomplish this. Join me in an illuminating workshop highlighting your dog’s amazing ability!
